DOUBLE YOUR CREATIVE POWER WITH THE NIKON Z 6II

The new Nikon mirrorless camera offers double the storage and twice the processing power for videos and stills

MIDDLE EAST & AFRICA – Go where your creativity takes you with a camera that can take whatever your imagination throws in its path, without missing a moment. Nikon Middle East FZE is pleased to announce the release of its new FX-format (full-frame) mirrorless camera, the new Z 6II that produces unparalleled stills and videos with the high performance NIKKOR Z range of lenses and superior performance of  Z mount. Built for the creators who require the flexibility in their stills and videos’ output while also getting these outputs delivered in quality and speed.

“Never miss a beat with the decisive power the Z 6II has to offer. Creators who want to harness the power of their camera to tell compelling stories by capturing all the details and action in absolute quality would greatly benefit with this model. Regardless of videos or stills, the camera keeps up with twice the speed and strength to match the fast-paced intensity of a passionate creator’s desire to visualise, create and share.” said Narendra Menon, Managing Director, Nikon Middle East FZE.

Z 6II PRIMARY FEATURES

Quality and Freedom in Motion

Begin the next chapter of the Z mount system – largest mount for abundant light, for the ultimate imaging experience. Be it daily fashion vlogs, a corporate event video, or a professional pre-wedding video for clients, creators will appreciate the high definition video resolution across various outputs. Produce full-pixel-readout full-frame 4K Ultra High Definition (UHD) or Full HD in both FX- or DX-based movie formats. Get videos straight out of the camera in 8-bit for quick uploads, or select between 10-bit N-Log1 or HDR (HLG)1 for post-production needs, or for those who prefer full flexibility in colour grading and more – there is also the optional 12-bit raw video1 output.

Be Unbound By Limitations

Capture elegant movements from street Capoeira performers or savour the intensity of a drummer’s performance with the Z 6II’s dual EXPEED 6 image-processing engine that produces the speed to keep up.

Great for moments in motion as it offers continuous shooting speed of up to approximately 14 frames per second (fps)2 with autofocus (AF) and auto-exposure (AE) tracking. The Z 6II features a powerful shutter speed setting which ranges from 1/8000 sec to 900 sec for flexible long exposure photography. Also, the camera features dual card slots which supports CFexpress (Type B), XQD or SD (UHS-II) cards, boosting a buffer capacity where you get to take up to 124 shots3.

Keep the focus locked on where the storytelling emotions are revealed – the eyes and/or faces of your subjects. Both still and video shooting with the Z 6 II benefit from the employment of the Eye-Detection AF and Animal-Detection AF technology. In addition to auto-area AF mode, the wide-area AF (L) mode4 also now supports both AF functions.

Always find yourself in the best view, even in extreme low light environments, as the camera provides superb focusing with a range as low as -4.5 EV5, which can be extended to -6 EV (with low-light AF).

Stay on Top of Things

Up your game with the new optional MB-N11 battery pack for a fret-free experience with the battery pack that offers stability and operability during vertical shooting. Experience longer still and video shooting with up to 1.9x boosted endurance, and enjoy uninterrupted shoots with the hot swap capability. In addition, users who are in the middle of an intense shoot can opt to charge via USB and they can do so without having to power off the camera.

Stay mobile and powered with the USB power supply from power banks to ensure creators have the ability to be always on for any crucial and unexpected opportunities. Handy for long hours of outdoor shooting such as interval timer shooting and time-lapse movies.

When on the move, trust that you won’t quickly run out of memory storage as the Z 6II offers dual card slots to ensure it provides you with the capacity to capture more of what you love. Fully enjoy being in the moment with the support of dual card slots, and experience smooth read and write speed thanks to the dual image-processing engines’ support. Creators also can opt for simultaneous recording of backup images to another card.

With all fantastic outputs from your hard work, use SnapBridge Version 2.7 to transfer them to your mobile devices for your post-production, sharing to social platforms, or making notes for your clients’ review.  On top of that, enjoy the freedom and avoid the hassles of upgrading your Z 6II with each new firmware update as SnapBridge Version 2.7 enables new firmware to be downloaded and transferred direct from your mobile device to camera.

Do More and Expand

Built to keep up with the paces of the creators and professionals alike, the camera weighing only approximately 705g6, also offers excellent robustness and dust- and drip-resistant performance to keep you continuing shoots even under unpredictable conditions. Be free of the restrictions of weather concerns.

With the natural view of the electronic viewfinder (EVF) at 3690k-dot Quad-VGA, always have your eyes on the prize while maintaining full control of your lens’ focusing by easily managing the focus ring that offers reverse rotation to prevent any mishandling in the wrong direction.

On top of all of that, complement the Z 6II with third-party accessories from audio to handheld gimbals to help your creations flourish even further. Your gear is expandable. This also includes serving to the needs of varying genres and expected outcomes – from silent and smooth operation in video shoots, to edge-to-edge sharpness and beautiful bokeh, the ever expanding high performance NIKKOR lenses for you to choose from pairs superbly with your camera.

Be undaunted and indulge in your passion – the Z 6II is only the beginning to the canvas of your imagination.
